Looking for a well-performing, but also cheap VPN? Well, I might have just the thing. Not two, not three, but four options with unbeatable prices. I’m John, this is VPNpro channel and these are the cheapest VPN apps you can get.

💣My full list of TOP VPN providers:

=== PrivateVPN: ===

In general, the cheapest VPN service is when you take long-term plans. Private VPN is no exception. This service is priced at about $2 a month, if you go for the longest plan, and one account supports up to 10 simultaneous device connections.

But being a cheap VPN is not it’s only upside. PrivateVPN keeps no logs but its jurisdiction belongs to Sweden, which is part of the 14-eyes alliance. For me, these are not as important though, since PrivateVPN owns each and every one of their servers, so they have the full liberty to deny government advances. Is that a qualifier for the best cheap VPN? Not really, but it’s a big deal for me.

This VPN can offer some additional features such as port forwarding and SOCKS5 proxy, both useful for torrenting and a Stealth VPN. That last one will come in handy, if you need safe internet access in a restrictive environment. Honestly, it’s not often I find a good cheap VPN that’s suitable for streaming. PrivateVPN is one of them. It might not have the most stable performance, but it was fast enough for me, even for the 4K Netflix streaming.

=== Surfshark: ===

Next in line – Surfshark, one of the cheapest VPN options, which is surprising considering how widespread it is. Priced at around $2.3 a month right now, it’s one of the fastest-growing VPN providers. Unlike PrivateVPN, Surfshark allows unlimited simultaneous connections. This alone makes Surfshark remarkable for this price, but that’s not the only benefit to consider. I’ve seen Surfshark audited for security and privacy, its strict no-logs policy confirmed by third parties. Surfshark is a very secure provider.

In my experience it’s very fast as well, as I’ve had no issues with using Surfshark for streaming or torrenting. If you are looking for a cheap VPN for Netflix, that might just be your best pick. Unsurprising, considering how many servers it offers, and the amount of locations it unblocks. At the end of the day, Surfshark is great value, especially if you also take the 7-day free trial and 30-day money-back guarantee as well.

=== PureVPN ===

PureVPN, while being unable to offer a similar deal, has other things setting it aside from other cheap VPN services. Priced slightly below $2 a month, making it incredibly cheap. Is that the cheapest VPN right now? Quite possibly.

A good value point is that, similarly to PrivateVPN, PureVPN can be used on 10 devices at the same time. On the privacy side, PureVPN is based in the British Virgin Islands jurisdiction, which is great, and offers an audited no-logs policy as well.

Security-wise, PureVPN is also not bad, it has all the necessary standards, but I don’t think that it’s PureVPN’s strongest side. Where PureVPN shines is in server count: with more than 6500 servers, PureVPN has the most servers amongst other services in the cheapest VPN category. With so many servers and modern protocols, I had quite an experience accessing streaming platforms with PureVPN.

=== AtlasVPN ===

Contrasting this a lot is AtlasVPN, a freemium provider, with a simple free version available alongside premium one. Despite being partly free, AtlasVPN’s premium is on par with other cheap VPNs: only a bit more expensive than $2 a month. Does having a free version make AtlasVPN the best cheap VPN? That I wouldn’t say.

I found AtlasVPN’s free version to be quite limited, with bandwidth restrictions, less servers and features, but on the other hand the premium is actually good value. It has a fair number of servers, good security features and even optimized streaming servers, which turned out to be more effective than I’d expected.
